This
portrait started with a digital photograph. The
background was not great - and there was the odd shadow
from the flash.
The goal was to create a painted portrait. A
unique texture was created to give the impression of
gesso. Much of the image especially the background
was hand manipulated using a Wacom graphics tablet and
Photoshop.
